Sarah + Ian | Philadelphia Engagement Session

I knew that I was going to have a connection with Sarah & Ian from the moment I read their email inquiry. They are hosting their marriage next year at the same venue where I was married, Bartram's Gardens. They are on the board of the Young Friends of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and they love the Philly bar & restaurant scene. Pretty perfect! For their summer engagement session, we decided to walk a familiar route through Washington Square Park, Society Hill and Philly's South Street. We had a gorgeous evening for a stroll, however, we'd chosen the hottest day of the summer to shoot! We ended up popping into Talula's Daily before revisiting the spot behind Independence Hall where Ian proposed.

Our last stop at Tattooed Mom's brought back many hazy memories and finally a beer to cool off! Sarah & Ian were awesome to hang out with and I can't wait to document their wedding next spring!
