Last September, we had the absolute pleasure of heading out to the Pocono Lake Preserve to photograph Liza and Andrew’s wedding. The whole weekend was full of laughter, kind words and lots of love.
When asked to describe her wedding, she had this to say - “I really wanted to embrace the beauty of the preserve, so everything should feel like it could belong there. I want it to be simple and beautiful, embrace the season with the colors & flowers. But I also want it to be a great party - the band to rock the house, people to be sore the next day from dancing so hard.” Coordinated by DPNAK Weddings, Liza’s vision for her wedding came to life. Rebecca Redpath Designs put together lovely fall florals and Liza’s bouquet paired beautifully with her Stella York bridal gown from La Bella Donna, and her hair and makeup were done by Philly Hair and Makeup Co.. Andrew wore a unique blue tuxedo rented from Black Tux. Constantino's Catering catered the event, and the whole thing was tied together by the “rock the house” band Liza was looking for - Big Ric Rising. Everybody had a blast and we wouldn’t be surprised if Liza and Andrew’s guests really did end up sore from dancing so hard.
We also had so much fun photographing this special couple’s wedding. Happy Anniversary, Liza and Andrew! Thank you for inviting us to take part in this wonderful celebration with you!
