When Kelly and Joel decided to get married, Kelly knew that she wanted to be surrounded by family and friends in her home town. She planned her traditional church ceremony and backyard reception long distance from Texas, where she and Joel have established their life as partners. They had been together for twelve years before their June wedding!

I was invited to document the day which began with getting ready in Kelly's childhood home. The ceremony was held in an old Catholic Church (built in 1743!) tucked away in the Pennsylvania countryside. Following their marriage, Kelly and Joel took us to a local covered bridge to capture their first moments together as husband and wife. We absolutely loved documenting the day and collaborating on beautiful portraits for Kelly and Joel.
